Delete Tag
==========

Deletes an existing DICOM tag. The tag must be selected. The tag can be deleted by clicking the |delete| button on the :ref:`dcmtoolbar` or by selecting "Delete tag' from the :ref:`editmenu`.See :ref:`dcmtoolbar` for editing DICOM files.


|Note| Editing a DICOM file may corrupt it.
